Apollo Dialysis Clinics Strengthens Access to Advanced Kidney Care in Kuppam, AP

For people living with chronic kidney disease (CKD), timely access to dialysis is essential to sustain life and improve quality of life. To strengthen access to this critical service, Apollo Dialysis Clinics has upgraded and expanded the Dialysis Unit at the Area Hospital in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The facility was inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu during his visit to the hospital, where he also interacted with patients and underscored the importance of strengthening dialysis services.

The expanded unit is designed to bring high-quality, technology-enabled kidney care closer to communities, reducing barriers to treatment for patients who require regular dialysis. By making essential renal care available closer to home, the initiative aims to improve continuity of treatment while reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for lifesaving therapy.

Commenting on the milestone, Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, highlighted that quality healthcare has little meaning unless it is accessible to those who need it most. She thanked the Government of Andhra Pradesh for its commitment to strengthening public healthcare and acknowledged the dedication of Apollo Dialysis teams in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
