Apollo Hospitals and Medtronic Inaugurate “ICU of the Future” at Jubilee Hills 1

Apollo Hospitals, in collaboration with Medtronic, has inaugurated the “ICU of the Future” at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, marking another significant advancement in critical care innovation. The newly launched 11-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) integrates Medtronic's advanced Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) technologies with Apollo's multidisciplinary clinical expertise to create a more connected, intelligent, and patient-centered ICU environment.

The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group; Mr. Manpreet Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Apollo HealthAxis; and Mr. Mandeep Singh Kumar, Managing Director & Vice President – India Subcontinent Countries, Medtronic, during the inauguration ceremony held at the Jubilee Hills campus.

Critical care requires continuous monitoring and timely clinical intervention, where every decision can significantly influence patient outcomes. The integrated ICU is designed to support evolving clinical needs by enabling real-time patient monitoring, streamlined clinical workflows, and data-driven decision-making. The collaboration also serves as a real-world clinical innovation hub, generating insights to help advance future critical care technologies and support evidence-based patient management.

Mr. Mandeep Singh Kumar said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to patient care and clinical excellence. He noted that meaningful healthcare innovation is driven by strong clinical collaboration and insights from real-world care environments, which help inform the development of technologies that better support clinicians and strengthen care delivery.
