Apollo Hospitals Expands Advanced Care Access in Mumbai with New Super-Speciality Centre in Dadar

Strengthening its commitment to accessible, patient-centric healthcare, Apollo Hospitals has launched a new super-speciality centre in Dadar, Mumbai, aimed at improving access to advanced medical care for patients requiring specialised and long-term treatment. The Apollo Super-Speciality Centre offers integrated services across cardiology, neurology, oncology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, transplantation, and pulmonology, supported by advanced diagnostics, robotics-enabled care, and 24x7 clinical access.

The initiative addresses a significant patient need in Mumbai, where nearly 8,000 patients travel annually to Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai for specialised treatment and follow-up care. By bringing expert-led services closer to central Mumbai, the Dadar facility is expected to reduce travel burden by nearly 30 km per visit for many patients, particularly those undergoing cancer treatment, post-transplant recovery, or chronic disease management.

The launch was attended by Mr. Arunesh Punetha, Regional CEO – Western Region, along with Apollo experts including Dr. Anil D’Cruz, Director Oncology and Senior Head and Neck Oncology Surgeon; Dr. Deepak Gautam, Senior Consultant Orthopaedic and Robotic Joint Replacement Surgeon; Dr. Dipalee Borade, Consultant Radiation Oncology; Dr. Jyoti Bajpai, Lead Consultant, Medical and Precision Oncology; and Dr. Sumeet Pawar, Consultant Spine and Neurosurgeon, along with members of the community.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Anil D’Cruz highlighted that the expansion reflects Apollo’s focus on ensuring consistent access to trusted specialists, integrated treatment pathways, and continuity of care closer to patients’ homes. The new centre further strengthens Apollo Hospitals’ vision of delivering evidence-based, multidisciplinary healthcare through a connected ecosystem that prioritises patient outcomes, convenience, and long-term wellness.
