Dr Dharna Jajodiya

Dr Dharna Jajodiya is a highly experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist with over 15 years of clinical expertise in advanced anesthesia and perioperative critical care. She is currently working at Jupiter Hospital, Indore (since November 2020) as a Consultant Anesthesiologist. Previously, she served as O.T. Superintendent and Chief Consultant Anesthesiologist at Vishesh Hospital, Indore (2016–2020), and earlier as Consultant Anesthesiologist at the same institution from 2009 to 2016. She also has experience as an Intensivist at CHL Apollo Hospital, Indore, with strong exposure to critical care, ventilator management, and emergency medicine.

She has independently managed a wide spectrum of complex surgical anesthesia cases, including high-risk neurosurgical procedures (aneurysm clipping, AVM surgeries, awake craniotomy, posterior fossa and spinal surgeries), renal transplant surgeries, major orthopedic procedures (TKA, THA, trauma and revision surgeries), and advanced laparoscopic surgeries including Whipple’s, adrenalectomy, hepatic and colorectal surgeries. Her expertise also extends to urology, gynecology, obstetric anesthesia (including eclampsia and painless labor), onco-surgery, thoracic, vascular, ENT, and maxillofacial surgeries, as well as cath lab and interventional cardiology procedures.

Her academic foundation includes an MBBS from NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur (Gold Medalist in Medicine & Surgery), a Postgraduate Diploma in Anesthesia from MGMMC Indore & MY Hospital, and certification in Fundamental Critical Care Support from the Society of Critical Care Medicine, California. She has also contributed academically with a publication on newer airway management techniques in an anesthesia newsletter. Her strengths include perioperative critical care, management of ASA Grade IV and high-risk patients, advanced airway techniques, and multidisciplinary emergency anesthesia care.
