About Dr Sanjay M V

Dr. Sanjay M. V. is a distinguished Lead Intensivist at Apollo Hospital Sarjapur, specialized in providing comprehensive, Multi disciplinary care to patients with life-threatening conditions. With over a decade of experience within the Apollo ecosystem.  He leads a multidisciplinary team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), focusing on stabilizing critically ill patients, managing multi-organ failure, and driving rapid recoveries.

His professional foundation is built on elite academic credentials, including an MD in Anesthesiology from KIMS, Bangalore (2013), and a Fellowship in Pediatric Anaesthesia from Narayana Hrudayalaya (2014). He further specialized with a Fellowship from the National Board (FNB) in Critical Care Medicine from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai (2017) and earned the prestigious European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC – Vienna) in 2016.

A highly motivated and experienced Intensivist, Dr. Sanjay holds advanced expertise in life-support procedures including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring/ resuscitation, renal replacement therapies and bedside ultrasound-guided interventions. Being an avid believer of evidence-based medicine, he ensures strict adherence to international protocols to minimize infections and complications, consistently enhancing patient survival rates. He holds special clinical interests in ECMO and Transplant Critical Care. By combining high-stakes clinical decision-making with empathetic care, he ensures strict adherence to international protocols while providing clear communication and support to families during difficult times.
