Dr. Siddhartha Chakravarthy is a Consultant Robotic Endocrine and Breast Onco Surgeon based in Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. He has over 15 years of extensive experience in the field. He completed his MCh in Endocrine and Breast surgery at the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore. He has extensive experience in performing thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and breast surgeries. He specializes in non invasive approaches to thyroid tumors including microwave/ radiofrequency ablation and transoral scarless thyroidectomy. He is skilled in the management of parathyroid problems, and has obtained excellent results in the management of difficult cases of recurrent or non localized parathyroid tumors (hyperparathyroidism).

 He has undergone training at reputed international centers in Sydney, Seoul, Turkey, Bangkok and Beijing. He has undergone training in the microwave and radiofrequency ablation of thyroid lesions in Turkey. He has completed a two month fellowship in ultrasound guided thyroid and breast tumor ablation in China Japan Friendship Hospital under the leadership of Prof Yu Ming An.

Dr Siddhartha is known for his patient centric approach, and commitment to individualized patient care. He is fluent in English, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali and can communicate effectively with a diverse patient population from across the country.  He is actively involved in academic developments in the field of Endocrine Surgery. He is an active participant in national and international conferences, with a keen interest in developing and disseminating the latest techniques in Endocrine Surgery.

   Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney May 2015: One month ICRETT fellowship in the  Department of Endocrine Surgery, Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney, Australia; Under the guidance of Dr. Mark Sywak, Dr Stan Sidhu and Prof. Leigh Delbridge
   Seoul National University of Health:  (April – 2016) : Attended a two weeks workshop on Endoscopic (bilateral axilla and breast approach BABA) and Robotic thyroidectomy in Seoul National University Hospital,  Bundang and Samsung Hospital in Seoul Korea.
   Police General Hospital Bangkok: Experience in transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy under the guidance of Dr.Angkoon Anuwong, who is the pioneer of this procedure.
   Basksehir Sakura Cam Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey (October 2023): Underwent training for non-surgical treatment of thyroid and breast nodules both microwave and radiofrequency ablation.
   China Japan Friendship Hospital, Beijing (May-June 2024): Two months fellowship in ultrasound guided thyroid and breast tumors ablation in under the leadership of Prof Yu Ming An.
