Apollo hospital Chennai's every doctors are best in their fields.. they don't do any business.. if you have a major problem thn they will suggest you for surgerys.. anyway after came in chennai We went to Dr TK Ghosh(Kolkata) because there was pus coming out of my husband's ear. So Dr. Ghosh did a test and saw the report and said there is no alternative but operation. A week later we came to Chennai Apollo hospital and saw Dr. PS Reddy with that ear and he first looked at his ear and said that nothing happened like an operation, and also said we should go to kolkata and saw them what apollo doc said with the tests reports.. I recently had my tonsillectomy done at Apollo by Dr. P. S. Reddy. Initially, I had a severe cough and cold with fever for 2 weeks. Several doctors suggested tests like xray, mantoux, and many other tests to rule out TB. This frightened me as well as my family. Then, I visited Dr. P. S. Reddy (suggested by my family doctor) who within seconds diagnosed it as tonsillitis. Later, during my review, suggested a tonsillectomy. He even denied all the unnecessary tests which were suggested by the anaesthetist. The surgery was very smooth. I felt so comfortable throughout. He wasn't a money minded person who ends you up charging extra thousands. And also was patient friendly. Even after the surgery, he refused any more reviews as I was fine. I would definitely say he is one of the best Otolaryngologists in chennai.
