Dr. Vijayasarathy Siddhaiyan is a highly accomplished Consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist with over 11 years of clinical and academic experience. He holds an MBBS, M.S. in General Surgery, MCh in Surgical Oncology, along with fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery (F.MAS) and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in Oncology (FALS), and has received international training in VATS (Shanghai). He has served in esteemed institutions including Srinivasan Medical College & Hospital, Silverline Speciality Hospital, Trichy, Malabar Cancer Center, Kerala, and Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum. A member of multiple national and specialty associations, he is well recognized for his contributions to surgical oncology, having received several prestigious awards such as the ‘Excellence in Medical Teaching’ award (AASAAN 2025), Best Poster Award (IASO NATCON 2022), and the Best Young Innovator Award (STANSURGE 2017). His strong research background includes widely cited publications on rectal cancer surgery, gastrointestinal diseases, diabetic foot ulcer management, and complex hepatobiliary anomalies. Dr. Vijayasarathy’s clinical interests span minimally invasive general surgery, cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC, thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery, advanced laparoscopic GI and gynecologic oncology, oncoplastic breast surgery, colorectal and urological cancer surgeries, and major composite head and neck cancer operations, reflecting his comprehensive expertise in modern surgical oncology.
