Dr. Karan Gupta is a highly trained Head & Neck Oncologist at Apollo Athenaa Women's Cancer Centre, Delhi, specializing in the comprehensive surgical management of head and neck cancers. He has an exceptional academic background, having completed his MBBS, MS, and DNB with Gold Medals, reflecting his dedication to academic excellence and advanced surgical training. Dr. Gupta has pursued specialized fellowships in head and neck surgery, reconstructive surgery, and robotic surgery, equipping him with expertise in managing complex cancers using advanced surgical techniques.

He completed a Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai, gaining extensive exposure to the multidisciplinary management of head and neck malignancies. He further trained in Head & Neck Reconstructive Surgery at HCG, Ahmedabad, developing expertise in complex reconstruction following cancer surgery. His advanced training also includes a Fellowship in Robotic Head & Neck Surgery through the Vattikuti Foundation in Michigan, USA, providing specialized expertise in robotic-assisted approaches for selected head and neck cancers.

Dr. Gupta's clinical expertise includes the evaluation and surgical treatment of cancers involving the oral cavity, throat, larynx, thyroid, salivary glands, and other head and neck regions. His approach focuses on achieving effective cancer control while preserving important functions such as speech, swallowing, and appearance wherever possible. He works closely with multidisciplinary oncology teams to develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's condition.
