    Dr Pradeep Krishna R V is a Senior Consultant in the Department of HPB Surgery and Liver Transplantation with more than 15 years of experience in hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation. He is currently working at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru, and was previously associated with BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital, Bengaluru.

    He completed his General Surgery training at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, followed by an M.Ch in Gastrointestinal and HPB Surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. During his training, he gained structured exposure to complex general surgery, hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, liver transplantation, and abdominal vascular procedures.

    He subsequently completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in HPB Surgery and Liver Transplantation at Rela Institute, Chennai, where he trained under the guidance of liver transplant surgeon Prof. Mohammed Rela. He has been involved in more than 800 living donor, deceased donor, and paediatric liver transplantations, with experience in operative techniques, donor and recipient evaluation, and peri-operative management of liver transplant and HPB patients.

    Dr Pradeep Krishna R V has experience in ABO-incompatible liver transplantation and has performed a high number of ABO-incompatible liver transplants in the state of Karnataka. He has also contributed to academic research, with publications in the fields of living donor liver transplantation and pancreatic diseases.
