    Dr. Praveen Kumar is a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist at Apollo Hospitals, Sheshadripuram, Bengaluru. He completed his DNB in Gastroenterology in December 2006 and has over two decades of expertise in managing complex gastrointestinal disorders.

    He previously served at Jagjivanram Hospital, Mumbai, where he progressed from Medical Officer to Head of the Department, performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. In 2017, he joined St. Philomena’s Hospital, Bengaluru, continuing his role as a Consultant Gastroenterologist before joining Apollo Hospitals.

    Dr. Praveen Kumar specializes in advanced therapeutic procedures including ERCP, GI motility studies, third-space endoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS)-guided interventions. He has received specialized training in EUS under Dr. Marc Giovannini in Marseille, France, and in single balloon enteroscopy at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad.
