Dr Asma Pathan is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Apollo Hospitals, Pune, with qualifications including MBBS, MD(General Medicine) and DNB (Medical Oncology). She specializes in the comprehensive management of a wide range of cancers, with particular expertise in breast, ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers, as well as head and neck cancers, lung cancer, genitourinary cancers, gastrointestinal cancers involving the esophagus, stomach, colon, rectum, pancreas, liver, and biliary tract, lymphoma, and sarcomas. 

Her clinical interests include systemic cancer therapies such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and endocrine therapy. Dr Pathan is also actively involved in clinical research, with experience in Phase I–III clinical trials, bioequivalence studies, PK/PD endpoint evaluation, and multidisciplinary cancer care. She contributes to tumor boards, evidence-based treatment planning, and survivorship care programs to support patients throughout their cancer journey.
