After completing her MS in Obs and Gynae, Dr Usha Bohra completed her MRCOG from UK and worked in Dublin for 10 years. During her time in Dublin, she also specialized in high risk pregnancy and gynecology and extensively trained in some of the best hospitals of the world. (National Maternity Hospital and Coombes Womens hospital) while earning her MRCP.
To her credit she has a gold medal in delivering 1000 first time mothers where the normal delivery rate was 96pc (active management of labour). She joined Apollo Hospital Ahmedabad in 2003 and became the Head of the Department in 2006.
In 2006, she developed the protocols and guidelines for the management of her department to an international standard. She achieved her FRCOG degree in 2008. She has been a faculty at National and International levels and her papers have also been published in International journals.
