In this day and age, finding a doctor who's genuinely concerned about her patient is very rare. Thankfully, I found a gem in Dr.Vishnu Vandana. I went to her in the 7th month of my second pregnancy. She monitored me ever since and suggested every measure to try and deliver my baby vaginally, since my first delivery was an emergency c-section. She clarified all my questions patiently and guided me like a true wellwisher. Though I had to finally deliver via c-section due to medical reasons, the post op care, her expertise, and guidance helped me walk the very next day. Would highly recommend Dr.Vishnu Vandana for any gynecological issues, without a second thought!

A Gynaecologist is a medical specialist in women's health. They focus on the female reproductive system – including the vagina, ovaries, uterus, and breasts – diagnosing and treating related health issues. Gynecologists also have obstetrics training, managing pregnancy and childbirth.

What is the difference between a Gynaecologist and an Obstetrician?

A Gynaecologist manages women's reproductive health. An Obstetrician specializes in pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care. Many Gynaecologists are also Obstetricians. Pregnant women can consult either; however, Gynaecologists are the appropriate specialists for female reproductive system issues.

What procedures do Gynaecologists and Obstetricians perform?

Gynecologists commonly perform procedures such as Dilation and Curettage (D&C), removing the uterine lining, and Hysteroscopy, a minimally invasive treatment for uterine conditions. Obstetricians manage childbirth, including normal delivery and Cesarean sections (C-sections) when complications arise, ensuring safe delivery for mother and child. These procedures represent a range of services offered by our specialists in women's health.
