    Dr. Deepak Gautam, MBBS, MS (Orthopedics), FACS, is a senior orthopedic and joint replacement surgeon with over 16 years of experience in advanced hip and knee surgery. Currently practicing as Consultant Joint Replacement Surgeon and Director of Orthopedic Disciplines at Apollo/Medicover Hospitals, Navi Mumbai, he specializes in Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) total hip arthroplasty, primary and revision hip and knee replacements, unicondylar knee arthroplasty, navigated and robotic joint replacement, complex joint reconstruction using allografts, management of complex trauma including acetabular and knee fractures, and treatment of chronic musculoskeletal infections. An alumnus of Medical College, Kolkata, and AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr. Gautam has received extensive national and international training, including fellowships in robotic and navigated joint replacement in India and Germany, trauma training in South Korea, and arthroplasty fellowships in Thailand. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has led and contributed to multiple high-impact, well-funded research projects in collaboration with AIIMS, IIT Delhi, ICMR, DST, and the Wellcome Trust, with a strong focus on computer-assisted surgical planning and implant biomechanics. He is an award-winning academician, an active member of several prestigious orthopedic associations, and is known for delivering technology-driven, evidence-based, and patient-centered orthopedic care.
