Experience
- I had the opportunity to observe the entire spectrum of pain management from simple medication management to complex interventional pain management procedures. I observed full range of interventional procedures from peripheral nerve blocks to complex neuraxial procedures like Epidural Steroid injections, Lysis of Adhesions, Vertebral Augmentation Techniques, Spinal cord stimulators and Intrathecal pumps. I also took active part in the evaluation and management of patients with a wide variety of painful conditions and disorders.
- This 2 week observership training has helped me to understand the importance of ultrasound in chronic pain management.The department is very unique, structured and organised. It is really a honour for me to be a part of this department for sometime as an observer and observe key points in chronic pain management. Dr.Paul Tumber, Dr.Anuj Bhatia, Dr.Phllip Peng are very well knowledged, intelligent, humble and excellent teachers.I got motivated for indulging in research work also.
