Dr. Yugandhar Sarma L is a highly experienced Radiation Oncologist with over 20 years of expertise in advanced cancer care and precision radiation treatments. He specializes in modern radiation therapy techniques including IMRT, IGRT, Rapid Arc, SRS, SBRT/SABR, CyberKnife, and Proton Therapy. With extensive experience in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, cancer screening, and prevention, he is particularly known for his special interest in brain tumors and clinical research.

Dr. Yugandhar completed his MBBS from Andhra Medical College and MD in Radiotherapy from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. He further earned the prestigious FRCR (Clinical Oncology) from the Royal College of Radiology, UK, and underwent advanced clinical fellowship training at Weston Park Cancer Hospital, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, UK.

Over the years, he has served at leading cancer centers including Renova Sowmya Cancer Centre, Apollo Cancer Centre, and Omega Hospitals. He has received several recognitions including the Best Faculty in Radiation Oncology Award by ANBAI in 2024 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiology in 2021.

An active academician and researcher, Dr. Yugandhar has presented and published multiple research papers in national and international oncology forums, with contributions in neuro-oncology, rectal cancers, CyberKnife radiosurgery, and advanced radiotherapy planning techniques.
