    Dr Chethan C M is a Consultant HPB and Liver Transplant Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru. He completed his MS in General Surgery from Stanley Medical College, Chennai, and pursued his super-specialty training with an MCh in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery from the prestigious Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi.

    He is comprehensively trained in the management of complex HPB disorders and advanced liver transplantation cases. His clinical expertise includes treating patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancers, and end-stage liver disease requiring transplantation, including high-risk and ABO-incompatible transplants. He also has extensive experience in pre-transplant optimization, management of post-liver transplant complications, and long-term care of liver transplant recipients.

    Prior to joining Apollo Hospitals, Dr Chethan served as a Consultant at BGS Gleneagles (formerly Global Hospital) for two years. He has presented his research at national platforms such as LTSICON and is a life member of the Liver Transplant Society of India (LTSI) and the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA).
