Is Cetylpyridinium chloride useful in COVID 19?

Cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) is a cationic quaternary ammonium compound used in some types of mouthwashes, toothpaste, lozenges, throat sprays, breath sprays, and nasal sprays. It has some antiviral effects. There are some reports of it being investigated for its efficacy in preventing COVID-19 infection.
