Dr Spoorthi G Reddy is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Medical Oncology at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru. She completed her MBBS from Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS), followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from Navodaya Medical College and Research Centre under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). She has successfully completed her DrNB training in Medical Oncology at HCG Hospitals, Bengaluru.
Her clinical training includes rotational postings at Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, NIMHANS, Institute of Nephro-Urology (INU), and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology. She subsequently served as Senior Resident in Internal Medicine at VIMS, Ballari, and later worked as a Junior Consultant at NH–JSW Hospital, Ballari.
Dr Spoorthi’s clinical practice focuses on comprehensive cancer care, including systemic therapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and personalized oncology treatment approaches for patients with solid tumours. She is also involved in supportive and palliative oncology care.
She has actively contributed to academic research with multiple national conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications. She has contributed as a co-author to the API Textbook of Medicine (2024) on targeted therapy in lung cancer and has published a case report in the Indian Journal of Cancer. Her research presentations include APICON, ISMPOCON, AMPOK, and BEST OF ASCO scientific meetings.
